WORKSHOP SERIES FOR WOMEN

The Workshops

Over the course of the four weeks, you'll be taken through a proven framework for smashing your endurance cycling event, covering your training, your well being and your rides.

This series of virtual workshops series will run over four consecutive weeks, on Saturdays at 4pm, through October, starting on the 5th.

  1. The first of this series of four workshops goes in deep on training for these challenging events. You'll learn how to make the best use of your time around your work and life commitments, planning ahead to ensure you hit your fitness goals and getting your body acclimatised to multiday riding.
  2. The second challenges what you know about training, with the latest research on female specific training and nutrition. You'll learn about training with your hormones, and your menstrual cycle, and at all life stages, pre, peri and post menopause, to maintain hormone health and protect your bones and muscles.
  3. The third looks at all the other demands of riding an unsupported long distance event, such as being self reliant, route planning and developing a sleep strategy. This will ensure you are feeling confident to deal with whatever challenges are thrown at you during your event.
  4. For the forth week, we'll be joined by Ultra cyclist Han, who will lead an introduction to Pilates for cyclists class. Take a break from the learning and let Han lead you through this restorative and strength building movement session, suitable for all abilities.

I really want the information shared to support you in achieving your cycling goals, so you’ll also be sent interactive workbooks to take notes, create your own framework checklist and set out a plan of action. I'll also be sending you lots of extra guides to support your learning in the workshops.

At the end of the series you'll have all the knowledge you need to be ready for your event, and a personalised road map to make it happen.
